ALL SAINTS' CHURCH - ANNESLEY
About us
All Saints' Church is located in Annesley, Nottinghamshire and is part of the Parish of Annesley with Newstead and Kirkby Woodhouse along with St.Mary the Virgin Newstead Village and St. John's Kirkby Woodhouse, within the Diocese of Southwell & Nottingham. A 'Who's Who?' list of contacts at the church can be found here.
We have a growing, thriving and welcoming church, with a hardworking congregation and supportive, lively community around us. Services are on Sundays, details of which can be found here. The church and church hall also support and host a diverse range of other regular events and groups, such as Mothers' Union, Men's Breakfast Group, Coffee Mornings, Rummage Sales and Church Tours. The Church is also starting to become a popular venue for concerts and other events; details of all groups and events can be found here.
The church is located at the top of a picturesque woodland drive and is therefore much photographed and very popular for occasional offices such as weddings. On the Media pages you can find many photographs and video galleries of the church to look around. The church is Grade II listed and contains many historic monuments and items of interest from the churches of Old Annesley and Colwick, which may be of particular interest to visitors interested in the Chaworth-Musters family and Lord Byron. Further history of the church and its background can be found on the History page.
Worship at the church ranges from traditional services to more modern family services and baptisms. The church caters well for young children and families and also has a considerable ministry among the bereaved and lonely. Everyone is welcome and received at All Saints' Annesley. We look forward to seeing you soon.
